Chico tends to buffalo and rhino at Karkloof Commercial Game Farm in KwaZulu Natal.

relationship he has with his animals is  captivating and deceptive.

I wanted to test my own perceptions.  I needed to capture him in action.

Seeing him  in that environment, there was something  of the natural and the sensory... A convergence  of human and animal conditions.

His is truly The Continent of the Predator.”
